Our goal is to work with travelers to design custom itineraries that suit their budgets.  The per person cost of a trip will depend upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the class of hotels utilized and the number of trip participants.  Hotels in India and Sri Lanka vary widely in terms of their level of comfort and the amenities they offer.  Thus one of the key inputs we need from you is the level of comfort you feel you require as a traveler in this region.

As a rough guide, utilizing three to four-star hotels, our programs range in cost from $500 to $750 per person per day on twin-sharing basis.  Utilizing five-star hotels and luxury properties, this cost ranges from $750 to $1,250 per person per day on twin-sharing basis. 

 
Your trip cost will typically include1: 
  • All accommodations (single or double occupancy), including all required taxes and fees;
  • Breakfast daily;
  • Ground transportation (car/motorcoach/train/boat);
  • Flights within the Indian subcontinent, including all required taxes and fees;
  • All airport transfers;
  • Baggage handling and porterage;
  • The services of experienced, English-speaking guides;
  • All monument/museum/site entry/activity fees;
  • Bottled water in all vehicles; and,
  • All required local taxes and fees
From Lost to Found Travel will not provide an itemization of your trip cost.

Your trip cost does not include1: 
  • International flights from the U.S. to the Indian subcontinent;
  • Items of a personal nature such as laundry, telephone calls, Internet/business center expenses, spa/salon services and room service;
  • Meals and beverages other than those specified above;
  • Gratuities for drivers and guides;
  • Excess baggage charges;
  • Trip cancellation/interruption, baggage delay/loss, medical/security evacuation and supplemental medical expense insurance – highly recommended;
  • Visa/passport processing costs; and,
  • Immunizations and prescription medications required for travel.
